The Bodhisattava Path

The Bodhisattva Path...Benefiting Self and Others

The Bodhisattva Path is the Enlightenment Path. To practise the Bodhisattva Path, we must aspire to seek enlightenment for ourselves and for all beings. With this aspiration, we commit ourselves to cultivate and attain enlightenment. It is only when we are enlightened that all our thoughts and actions can be considered to be on the Bodhisattva Path.

A Bodhisattva is one who "has feelings and who has awakened". A Bodhisattva who is practising the Bodhisattva Path is "awakening other sentient beings".

We need to respect the Bodhisattvas, revere the Bodhisattvas, learn from the Bodhisattvas and be Bodhisattvas ourselves.
